How Do I install Google Tags

There are several ways to install Google Tags on a WordPress website. Here are two options:

Option 1: Use a plugin

1. Install and activate a plugin that allows you to add Google Tags to your WordPress site, such as the Google Tag Manager for WordPress plugin.
2. After installing the plugin, go to the plugin settings page and follow the instructions to set up a Google Tag Manager account and create a new container.
3. Once the container has been created, you will be given a code snippet to install on your website.
4. Copy the code snippet and paste it into the header of your WordPress site by going to Appearance > Theme Editor and selecting the header.php file.
5. Save your changes and publish the updated header.php file.

Option 2: Manually install google tags – add the code snippet

1. Sign up for a Google Tag Manager account and create a new container.
2. Once the container has been created, you will be given a code snippet to install on your website.
3. Copy the code snippet and paste it into the header of your WordPress site by going to Appearance > Theme Editor and selecting the header.php file.
4. Save your changes and publish the updated header.php file.
